The brain, depending on the type of activity it is carrying out, manifests certain frequencies or waves that we call patterns. For example, if you are sleeping you have a pattern with slow waves and if you are dancing or studying you have a pattern with faster waves. With neurofeedback what we do is modify these patterns when they are not optimized. When you have stress, anxiety, insomnia, etc.
Neurofeedback therapy combines an EEG + biofeedback. With the electroencephalogram we visualize the activity of the brain (its frequencies, waves).
When you suffer from stress, anxiety or insomnia, your brain is in a constant alert mode with patterns in its activity that it is not able to regulate or balance. With neurofeedback therapy we achieve greater flexibility and recover the ability to regulate patterns and therefore improve your well-being.
