What is Cognitive therapy?
Cognitive therapy, also known as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), is a widely used therapeutic approach that focuses on identifying and changing patterns of thinking and behavior that may be problematic or causing distress in a person.
Cognitive therapy is used to treat a wide range of disorders, such as depression, anxiety, panic disorders, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), among others. It is also effective in addressing relationship problems, work stress, and improving emotional management in general.
