Symptoms of Lack of Attention
The symptoms of a person with attention deficit disorder (AD/HD) are a mere expression of a lack of self-regulation and vigilance, which are associated with poor functioning of specific executive functions of the frontal lobe of their brain. For this reason it is seen that people with ADHD find it difficult to plan, organize and estimate how much time they will need for a task among others…
With an electroencephalogram (EEG) we can see in 94% of people with AD/HD some very characteristic patterns (*) such as, for example:
Insufficient Beta waves that are important for guided attention
Excessively slow Theta waves (normally present when you sleep).
Neurofeedback therapy aims to train the brain to produce healthier patterns and as an effect improves the behavior of the person with ADHD.
