MINDFULNESS
What is Mindfulness?
Mindfulness, translated as “full attention” or “full awareness”, is a practice that involves intentionally paying attention to the present moment, without judging or reacting to it. This technique originates in Buddhist meditation, but has been developed as a widely used therapeutic tool in modern psychology.
The primary goal of mindfulness is to cultivate greater awareness and understanding of oneself and one’s surroundings, which can lead to greater mental clarity, emotional well-being, and a better ability to cope with the challenges of daily life.
